Storeperson - Masterton

Are you ready to join a great team at Corys Electrical? We're looking for a motivated and reliable Storeperson to join our Masterton branch. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping our warehouse running efficiently while providing excellent customer service. From time to time, you'll also support our trade counter by assisting customers and processing sales.

What does the Storeperson do?

As our Storeperson, you'll play a key role in ensuring stock is received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Receiving, unpacking, and receipting incoming stock
• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Stock control and general warehouse duties
• Operating a forklift (where licensed)
• Assisting with stock collections as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse

You'll also provide support at our trade counter during busy periods or when required, helping customers with product enquiries, processing sales, and delivering the high level of service Corys is known for.

What do you need to bring to Corys?

Bring your enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering great service. You'll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in ensuring every order is completed accurately and on time.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment
• Experience with inwards and outwards goods
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work efficiently, accurately, and as part of a team
• A good level of physical fitness, as this is a physically active role
• A full New Zealand driver's licence (F endorsement is advantageous)
• A forklift licence is beneficial but not essential

Previous experience in electrical wholesale or trade counter sales is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
