Project Coordinator / Estimator – Christchurch

Are you commercially minded, organised and confident working across customers, suppliers and project requirements?

Corys Electrical is looking for a Project Coordinator / Estimator to join our Christchurch team. This is a varied role combining estimating, tender support and project coordination, helping ensure customer requirements are accurately priced, well managed and delivered from quotation through to completion.

What you will be doing

You will work closely with our sales teams, branches, customers and suppliers to support commercial projects and tender opportunities across the South Island.

You’ll review tender documents and specifications, prepare competitive quotations and proposals, coordinate supplier pricing and product requirements, and help ensure projects progress smoothly through to delivery.

You’ll also support product selection and specification requirements, coordinate documentation and certifications, maintain contract pricing information, and work through customer or supplier issues as they arise.

This is a hands-on role where strong organisation, commercial thinking and attention to detail will make a real difference.

What you will bring

You may already be working in estimating, project coordination, tendering, project sales or a similar commercial role.

Experience within electrical wholesale, electrical contracting, construction supply or another technical industry would be an advantage, but just as important is your ability to understand customer requirements, manage multiple priorities and build strong working relationships.

You’ll bring:

• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with pricing and quotations
• Good commercial judgement and an understanding of margin and customer value
• The ability to interpret tender documents, specifications and customer requirements
• Strong organisation and follow-through across multiple projects and deadlines
• Confident communication with customers, suppliers and internal teams
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Experience with ERP systems such as Business Central would be advantageous

Electrical or technical product knowledge would be beneficial but is not essential for the right person.
