HR Advisor - Auckland Support Office

Are you ready to take the next step? At Corys Electrical, we are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join our small HR team based at our Auckland Support Office.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their HR advisory experience in a practical, hands-on role. You will gain exposure across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance, engagement, HR processes, reporting and people-related projects, working closely with the National HR Manager.

What you will be doing

You will provide practical HR support and advice to managers and employees across our branch and support office network.

You will help managers work through people matters early, fairly and consistently. This will include supporting recruitment and onboarding, preparing employment documentation, assisting with employment relations processes, supporting performance conversations, contributing to engagement and change activity, and helping improve HR processes and reporting.

You will also work closely with payroll to ensure employee changes and documentation are accurate and completed on time. This is a broad HR role where no two days will be the same. You will be trusted to take ownership, ask questions, follow through and build strong working relationships across the business.

What you will bring

You will bring strong organisation, attention to detail and confidence working with confidential information. You will have practical HR experience, a good understanding of NZ employment legislation, and the ability to communicate clearly with managers and employees at all levels.

Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employment documentation, performance processes or employee relations will help you succeed in this role. Exposure to payroll processes, HR reporting or a multi-site business would be an advantage.

Most importantly, you will bring a practical and people-focused approach, sound judgement, and a willingness to learn, grow and get involved.
