Finance Business Analyst - Mt Eden, Auckland

The Role

As our Finance Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in providing detailed financial analysis and actionable insights to senior leadership. You’ll champion Oracle Business Intelligence, automate reporting, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven forecasting and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and enhance financial reporting, modelling, and analysis
• Champion Oracle BI and develop automated, dynamic reporting
• Analyse financial performance—customer & product mix, margin trends, operational productivity
• Prepare high-impact reports for leadership meetings, business reviews & board presentations
• Support key business cases—lease renewals, relocations, CAPEX projects
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and senior leadership to improve financial processes
• Ensure compliance, accuracy, and integrity of financial data

What You Bring

• CA or equivalent qualification (preferred)
• Strong financial modelling & numeracy skills
• Expertise in Excel, Power BI, and Oracle BI (or similar)
• Commercial mindset with a deep understanding of margins & business performance
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven
